The Blacksmiths Shop and Packing Shed.

The Blacksmiths shop is an example of a working Blacksmith Shop from the late 1800's. On special day you can watch one of our team members working and making horse shoes like they used to do.
The Packing Shed is an example of a typical shed found near the Nerang Railway station. It was used to pack fruit into boxes made nearby ready for the train trip to Brisbane.
On the far end of these sheds is a Ralister diesel engine as found in many Blacksmiths shop. On special days this engine can be fired up to run the drill inside the Blacksmiths shop using belts and pulleys the way is was many years ago.
