The choice of timber is a rough example of what would have been used back then. Note the difference in the size of slabs used in the exterior and interior walls (you'll have to visit to see the difference!)

The interior walls are original recycled slabs used in the pioneering days of Springbrook. The interior is “furnished” as it would have been in pioneer times - worth a look!

A stone fire place has been built in the kitchen and period items added.
